You are responsible for realizing the production planning for the cable production, termination and warehouse departments. You ensure that our products are produced in a safe manner in which objectives in terms of quality, delivery time and efficiency are achieved. Safety and quality have priority. Your people must go home healthy and our products must be delivered to our customers in perfect condition.
As a production manager you have an exemplary role in these areas. In addition, you ensure that there are sufficient trained resources in your departments to achieve the objectives.
You report to the Operations Director and are part of the Operations Management Team. You directly manage a team of 6 employees and indirectly 55 employees.
The most important thing is that you have an excellent safety and quality mentality. No matter how busy it is, safety and quality always come first. Your focus is on collaboration, results and continuous improvement. These are also some important requirements:
• Bachelor degree in a technical direction
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in a production environment
• Proven track record with change and improvement processes
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English
